Our Story
Some of the most beautiful things in life begin with love — and Iggy's Wings Studio is no exception.
Iggy was my baby. He had the deepest eyes, that could look through you and into the depths of your soul, a look of pure love. He was quite the talker, always having something to say. He was every bit the king and ruler of our household! He had a way of making everything feel warmer. He wasn't just a pet — he was a muse, a companion, and the quiet inspiration behind every brushstroke.
When Iggy passed, the grief was and still is intense. But so was the urge to keep him close — to honor him in a way that felt as beautiful and full of life as he was. That's how Iggy's Wings Studio was born.
Each piece of art created here carries a piece of that love. The soft pastels, the delicate details — they're all a reflection of the joy Iggy brought into my world. And through custom pet portraits, that same intention is extended to your beloved companions too.
I started working on Iggy's portrait shortly after I got his cancer diagnosis. My mom got me a lap table so Iggy could lay right beside me on the couch as I worked. (He got upset at me otherwise). When I came home after the day I lost him, I looked at the portrait that I'd done of him. My husband saw my gaze and said, "You did too good on that." That portrait helps me, it allows me to look into his eyes again, far beyond any photograph can grant.
I would love to do that for you as well. Whether you have lost or just want a portrait of the pet you love on every day. Because every pet deserves to be remembered as the masterpiece they are.
Welcome to Iggy's Wings Studio. We're so glad you're here.
